StockPhotoScout Privacy Policy

StockPhotoScout processes data only as needed to provide theme generation, image upload tasks, CSV title and keyword filling, Adobe Stock upload status, and rejected image recording. We do not sell user data, store Adobe passwords, or collect website content unrelated to the StockPhotoScout workflow.

Last updated

June 9, 2026. This policy applies to the StockPhotoScout website, upload workflow, and StockPhotoScout Uploader Chrome extension.

Data we process

Account data: when you sign in to StockPhotoScout, we process your login email, user ID, permission status, credit balance, and upload task status so you can access your own workspace, credits, and tasks.

Adobe Stock account data: on Adobe Stock Contributor pages, the extension detects the currently signed-in contributor account, such as contributor ID, public contributor URL, or visible display name. The extension only displays and matches the current Adobe session; it does not allow manual Adobe account switching.

Upload and metadata records: when you create tasks, download or upload CSV files, or record rejected images, we may store task-related filenames, titles, keywords, task IDs, upload status, CSV status, Adobe file IDs, rejection types, and rejection details.

Local extension settings: the extension stores a small amount of local Chrome data, such as whether auto-recording rejected images is enabled and the most recently confirmed Adobe account match. This prevents records from being written to the wrong Adobe account.

Technical logs: to troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, and keep the service stable, we may log request time, endpoint path, basic error details, browser type, and IP address.

Data we do not collect

We do not store your Adobe Stock password, Adobe payment details, credit card information, or browser passwords.

The extension is scoped to stockphotoscout.com and contributor.stock.adobe.com. It does not scan browsing history on unrelated websites or collect webpage content unrelated to the StockPhotoScout upload workflow.

If Adobe pages contain images from other sources that do not match StockPhotoScout database records, those unrelated images are not shown or processed as your StockPhotoScout task data.

How we use data

We use data to create image generation and upload tasks, show task progress, generate and download CSV files, send titles and keywords to the Adobe upload page, record matched rejected images, troubleshoot failed tasks, and provide user support.

We do not sell user data to advertisers, use extension data for cross-site ad tracking, or use Chrome extension data for purposes unrelated to the visible product features.

Data sharing

We use infrastructure providers only as needed to run the service, such as hosting, databases, email, and logging. They process data only for service operation.

We do not disclose account or upload data to third parties except as needed to provide a feature you requested, comply with law, or protect users and service security.

Retention and deletion

Upload tasks, image logs, CSV status, and rejection records are retained under your StockPhotoScout account for history, troubleshooting, and workflow analysis.

You can request account deletion or deletion of records associated with an Adobe account through the support page. We may need to verify account ownership before deleting data.

Security

The website and extension APIs transmit data over HTTPS. We limit extension site access to the domains and permissions needed for the product features.

No online service can promise absolute security. If you notice suspicious sign-in activity, incorrect data sync, or a privacy concern, contact us through the support page.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use statement

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

StockPhotoScout Uploader uses extension-collected data only for visible user-facing features: auto upload, CSV metadata filling, upload status display, and rejected image recording.
